Look up a transaction's tax classification
Enter a transaction hash and the Classification Explorer returns what the engine sees: the canonical category, the US tax treatment, a confidence score, and the reasoning — from the same engine behind the API. No wallet connection, ever; it works from the hash alone.
How it works
Enter a hash (or follow a shared link — every result has a ?hash= permalink). Chain detection is automatic across 80+ chains. The result shows the classification per leg: what was sent, what was received, the category the engine assigned, the treatment that follows from it, and why. When a transaction is genuinely uncertain, you see an honest needs_review instead of a confident-looking guess.
No wallet connection. The Explorer reads nothing from you but the hash you enter. There is no address import, no portfolio sync, and no permission prompt — it is a lookup tool, not an account aggregator.
Free to try
Anonymous use includes 10 classifications a day — the built-in sample hashes and repeat lookups are free and do not count. A free Developer account raises that to 250 billable transactions a month and adds API and MCP keys with the same pool. Paid plans are on the pricing page.
